Out There
Out There
Out There is a brand of outdoor skin care products that helps people who are active without harming their skin or the environment. The brand is at the crossroads of performance, care, and intention for people who move easily between everyday life and the outdoors. In August 2025, I started working with Out There to help shape the brand's identity from the start. We created a visual foundation that could grow with the product line and the founder's long-term vision. This project is still being worked on.

The early explorations focus on establishing tone and direction rather than final execution. Color: Drawn from natural environments—muted, mineral, and atmospheric rather than high-contrast or aggressive. Typography: Selected for clarity and softness, prioritizing legibility and approachability over sharp performance cues. Imagery Direction: Nature-inspired without dominance—emphasizing texture, light, and scale rather than conquest or extremity. Overall Feel: Grounded, considered, and adaptable—avoiding overt gendering while remaining warm and intentional. These explorations are designed to act as a flexible foundation, allowing the identity to evolve as product and storytelling develop.

As the project continues, the focus will shift to refining the system across packaging, digital touchpoints, and content, ensuring the brand remains cohesive while allowing room for growth and collaboration. This phase is intentionally open-ended, prioritizing clarity and alignment before finalization.

To collect emails, I created a landing page that featured field recordings and ambient nature scenes.
